The Burdened Poor
Sunday, March 8th, 2009For centuries man had been in one with nature, respecting it and taking care of it. However, industrialization and technological development saw rapid deterioration of environment in the 20th century. All the natural resources of our earth, air, water and soil, has be degraded and depleted. Though the policies of rich countries and a few poor countries have resulted in the destruction of our natural resources, it is the poor countries that are affected the most. Drought and famine and floods and death occur with increasing frequency. Realizing the magnitude of global warming leaders have come together to find a solution.
