Is The Sea An Oil Dump?
Friday, January 16th, 2009Oil spills into seas, rivers and oceans while being transported. These oil spills affect the marine life. Birds, fish, penguins and whales die due to suffocation as oil gets into their bodies. They also choke to death as they swallow the oil spilt water. Oil spilt near the coastline is more harmful than that spilt in the middle of the ocean. This is because a large number of fish and other sea creatures live near the coastline. By not dumping oily waste in the garbage by being a little more careful we can effectively save our oceans, seas and the marine life in them.
