What Is The Result Of A War?

Other long term impact on man and his environment is the use of chemical and biological weapons in warfare. Harmful pollutants in the air, water, and soil affect all living organisms. Burning of oil wells causes air pollution leading to health hazards. Animals are poached for ivory and skin. There has been a sharp reduction in the number of birds flying through Afghanistan. Women are used as pawns and raped thereby spreading sexually transmitted diseases.
